Description
The Data Entry Representative - Billing Is Responsible For Processing Patient Billing And Billing With Special Qualifications And Billing For NCPDP-Related Claims And Ensuring That Prescription Drugs Are Reviewed For Approval. Those Who Pay Before Delivery Of Medicine Without Delay In Patient Care. . . Medical Payers And NCPDP Experts Work Together To Obtain A Refund Of Unpaid Claims And Help Pharmacies Plan Future Shipments To Avoid Denials. Main Duties And Functions:
Work
- Completes Billing For Medications And/Or Services Required For Each Subsequent Delivery, According To Billing Requirements.
- Maintains Medical Records In The ECM And The Results Of The Investigation Of Each Decision Made; And In HC360 By Entering Progress Notes.
- Advises Patients On Billing Or Financial Services At The Dispensing Pharmacy.
- Contact Payees As Necessary To Resolve NCPDP Claims And Perform Data Entry Into HC360 As Necessary.
- Performs Data Entry To Complete Patient And Case Registration In A Computerized Application (CE2000).
- Performs Other Duties And Responsibilities As Assigned.
Qualifications Required
- At Least One Year Of Experience In Pharmaceutical Billing Or Collections, Accounts Payable Or Accounts Receivable.
- At Least One Year Of Experience Working In The Medical Reimbursement System.
- Excellent Marketing Service.
- Attention To Detail And Excellent Time Management Skills.
- Proficiency In Microsoft Office Software - Word, Excel, And PowerPoint.
