Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position:
The Wells Fargo Data Technology Platform Services Team Is Seeking A Senior Systems Operations Engineer To Support The Operations Of Multiple Data Warehouse Companies Across The Business Within The Production Support Division Of The Organization. This Position Has The Primary Responsibility Of Providing Production Support, Analysis, Troubleshooting, And Resolving Production Project Failures, Data Analysis, Supporting And Implementing Code Design, And Coordinating And Developing ETL, databases, And Business Analysts Within Each Application Team. Primary Production Support For Analytics And ETL Projects As Well As Large-scale Scale Data Processing Projects In Enterprise Data Lake Environments. Solve And Analyze Production Problems Related To Data, Network File Transfer, And Server And Application Independently And Provide Recovery Solutions. Do Not Drive And Participate In A Car Accident To Avoid Repeated Incidents. Identifying Key Operating Procedures And Implementing Automation To Prevent the Recurrence Of Problems; to Improve Response To All Unusual Work Conditions. Collaborate With Business Analysts And ETL Development Teams To Solve Complex Data Design Problems / Deliver Realistic Solutions That Meet Business Requirements And Improve System Performance.
Collaborate With The Delivery Team Which Includes The Offshore Team, And Perform Coordination Tasks As Needed To Achieve A Global Model Of Support That Follows The Sun. Identify And Implement Best Practices And Processes In The Following Service Areas: Analysis, Risk, Change, Incident Detection, Incident Management, Problem Management, Vulnerability Management, Technology Innovation, Application And Application Support. Encourage And Participate In Knowledge Sharing Where Necessary. Develop And Update Documentation, Departmental Technical Procedures And User Guides. Implement Best Practices For Production Environments. Telephone Work Is Allowed Up To 3 Days Per Week. The Location Must Appear On Its Own At The Location Indicated As The Service Address.
Qualifications Required:
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology Or Related Technical Field.
- Number And Type Of Experience Required: Four (4) Years Of Experience In The Assigned Position Or A Related Position Including Experience In Application Development And Implementation.
Special Skills Required:
- 4 Years Of Experience In Data Entry And Querying Using SQL
- 3 Years Of data environment Hadoop, HDFS, Spark Experience
- 3 Years Experience In UNIX Shell Scripting
- 3 Years Of Experience In Autosys Projects
