  • Management Will Change The Situation Or Require Other Services Be Performed Whenever It Deems Appropriate, Respecting, Of Course, All Legal Obligations, Including Contractual Obligations.
  • Provide Support To The American Airlines Tech Ops Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP). Participate In Projects And Study Procedures For Tech Ops Whenever Possible To Improve Safety And Accident Prevention And Improve Company Policies And FAR (Federal Aviation Regulator).
  • Collects And Organizes Information On ASAP Reports Before The ERC Meeting. This Includes But Is Not Limited To, Liaising With Other Departments That Assist The ERC In The Analysis, Planning, And Organization Of Their Reports.
  • Identify And Analyze Safety And Compliance Measures And Concerns From ASAP, Including Preparing Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, And Annual Reports And Charts For AA Updates. The Ability To Report Data Is Important. Develop An ERC Agenda For Weekly Meetings
  • Takes And Maintains Event Review Committee (ERC) Minutes, Attendance And Events.
  • Alternate Chairman Of The ASAP Event Review Committee (ERC). Follow/Coordinate And Coordinate With M&Amp; E Department, FAA, And ERC Members For Information Sharing And Corrective Actions.
  • Develop Collateral And Admissions Materials, Including Posters And PowerPoint presentations To Represent The Department At The Meeting, As Required. Collaborate With Other ASAP Members To Share, Analyze And Report Information.
  • Other Duties Assigned By The ASAP Techops Program Manager.

Minimum Qualification - Education And Previous Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in aviation field Or Relevant Experience In Airport Ground Operations
  • 3+ Years Of Experience In The Airline Industry
  • Experience With Metrics, Dashboard Development And Data Analysis
  • Knowledge Of Microsoft Office Including Advanced Skills In Excel And PowerPoint.
  • Must Be Able To Work Within Strict Coding Guidelines. Ability To Travel (25%)

Preferred Qualifications - Education And Previous Work Experience

  • Air License And Wood License Are Highly Preferred
  • Proficiency In Using SCEPTRE, TABLEAU, CERS, SHAREPOINT, And WBAT Or Similar Complex Database Systems.
  • Knowledge Of Federal Regulations, AA Maintenance And Performance Programs, and Security Agency Policies And Procedures.
  • Experience With Safety Management Systems (SMS) Standards.
  • Operational Experience In Line Or Base Maintenance
  • Experience In Data Analysis
  • Ability To Establish And Manage Multiple Priorities
  • Ability To Manage Your Schedule
